Specialist Care
Why See a Specialist Urologist Rather Than Your GP?
General practitioners provide essential first-line care — but men's urological health is a specialist field. GPs typically have limited time per appointment, limited access to urological investigations, and limited experience with the full range of treatments available for conditions like erectile dysfunction, chronic pelvic pain, and sexual dysfunction.
A specialist urology consultation with Dr Bahl is different. You get a dedicated appointment focused entirely on your urological health — with the depth of clinical knowledge that comes from 15 years of specialist urological practice. Dr Bahl can assess, investigate, diagnose, and treat in a single clinical pathway — without months of NHS waiting lists or multiple GP referrals.
For men who want a thorough, expert assessment of any urological concern — and a clear, honest answer about what is happening and what can be done — a specialist consultation is the right starting point.
A proper assessment changes everything. Most men I see have been managing symptoms for months or years before seeking specialist input. Earlier assessment almost always leads to better outcomes.— Dr Kishore Bahl
What We Cover
Conditions Addressed at Your Consultation
Not sure which service applies to you? Start with a general consultation — Dr Bahl will identify the right pathway and, where relevant, point you to the specific treatment page below.
Erectile Dysfunction
The most common male sexual health condition. Focal shockwave therapy targets the vascular root cause — restoring natural function without medication.
Learn more →Premature Ejaculation
Affects 1 in 3 men. Medical assessment identifies the cause — hormonal, psychological, or combined — and appropriate management.
Learn more →Chronic Pelvic Pain (CPPS)
Persistent pelvic pain without bacterial infection. Focal shockwave therapy — 78% improvement rate in published RCT. Non-invasive, drug-free.
Learn more →Low Libido
Reduced sexual desire with identifiable medical causes — most commonly hormonal. Comprehensive assessment including hormonal investigation.
Learn more →Sexual Performance Anxiety
Anxiety that creates a physiological cycle interfering with sexual function. Medical assessment and prescription management where appropriate.
Learn more →Psychosexual Health
Physical and psychological dimensions of sexual health addressed together in a single medical consultation.
Learn more →Sexual Health & Relationships
Sexual dysfunction affects confidence, relationships, and emotional wellbeing. Medical treatment of the root cause is the most effective intervention.

Learn more →Prostate Health
Prostate assessment, PSA discussion, urinary symptom evaluation, and referral pathway if further investigation is indicated.

What Happens in the Consultation
A dedicated, unhurried specialist appointment — not a rushed 10-minute GP slot.
01 · Comprehensive History
Dr Bahl takes a detailed medical, urological, and where relevant, sexual and psychosexual history. There are no rushed 10-minute slots — this is a dedicated specialist consultation. Every relevant aspect of your urological health is covered.
02 · Clinical Examination
Where clinically indicated, Dr Bahl performs a focused physical examination. He will explain what he is looking for and why. Examination findings are discussed openly and clearly.
03 · Investigation & Diagnosis
Based on history and examination, Dr Bahl recommends relevant investigations — blood tests, urinalysis, imaging, or other assessments as appropriate. Results are reviewed in follow-up and explained in plain language.
04 · Management Plan
Dr Bahl provides a clear, personalised management plan — covering treatment options, expected outcomes, and next steps. Where shockwave therapy, prescription management, or onward referral is indicated, this is discussed and agreed with you. Nothing is done without your informed consent and understanding.
