WHY START HERE
One Assessment. The Right Answer.
Men's health symptoms rarely arrive labelled. Pain might be prostatitis, or it might be musculoskeletal, or in rare cases something more serious that needs urgent attention. Erectile changes might be vascular, might be related to a previous surgery, might be hormonal, or might be a combination of several factors. Trying to self-diagnose from symptoms alone — or starting treatment before understanding the actual cause — is how many men end up with months of ineffective antibiotics, or treatments that don't address what's really happening.
Dr Kishore Bahl brings 30 years of medical experience and a 15-year specialisation in Urology to every men's health consultation at Shockwave Revibe Clinic. Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, a proper urological consultation looks at the full clinical picture — your history, examination findings where relevant, and any necessary investigations — before recommending a path forward.
This matters because the treatments that work for one condition can be entirely wrong for another that presents similarly. Vasculogenic ED and post-prostatectomy ED have different underlying biology and require different approaches. Chronic pelvic pain is frequently treated with antibiotics despite no bacterial cause in over 90% of cases. An accurate diagnosis is not a formality — it is the single most important factor in whether treatment actually works.
Every patient deserves an accurate diagnosis before treatment begins — not a template applied regardless of the underlying cause. That is the standard every consultation at Shockwave Revibe is held to.— Dr Kishore Bahl

What Happens at a Men's Urology Consultation
1 · Full clinical history
Dr Bahl takes a thorough history covering your symptoms, their duration and pattern, relevant medical history (including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, prior surgery), current medications, and your specific concerns and goals. This conversation is completely confidential.
2 · Examination & investigation
Depending on your presentation, this may include physical examination and, where clinically indicated, investigations such as blood tests, urine tests, or validated symptom questionnaires. Nothing is done without explanation — Dr Bahl will tell you what each step involves and why it matters before proceeding.
3 · Diagnosis & treatment plan
You'll leave your consultation with an honest assessment of what's actually happening, and a clear treatment plan if appropriate — including realistic expectations about likely outcomes. If your condition would be better served by a different specialist or service, Dr Bahl will tell you that directly rather than offering treatment that isn't the right fit.
Every patient deserves an accurate diagnosis before treatment begins. The most common mistake in men's health is treating symptoms before understanding the cause — and the second most common mistake is assuming symptoms are 'just part of aging' when they're actually treatable.
